Friends of Alrowwad UK was established as an organisation to support the work of Alrowwad Cultural and Arts Society in Aida refugee camp, Bethlehem. We are committed to working in partnership with Alrowwad to develop projects that are compatible with their work – by publishing books, plays, organising tours and establishing connections with the UK. In October 2019 Friends of Alrowwad UK was established as a charity - FRIENDS OF ALROWWAD UK with the Registered Charity Number 1185770. We have held several fundraising events here in the UK over the past few years and continue to plan more. Each member and friend of Alrowwad who has visited the centre has been inspired by the work the team do there and have wanted to continue their connection and support for Alrowwad in any way they can to ensure that the work of Alrowwad can continue in Aida camp. We would love as many people as possible who have been touched by the work of Alrowwad to become involved in some way and we welcome any help and suggestions from you.

Friends of Alrowwad UK is delighted to welcome the Dabka dance group from Alrowwad Centre for Arts and Culture. They will be in the UK from 29th November until 11th December in the following venues, with more to be announced shortly.
